Multiple Sclerosis

In December 2003 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I'll add more info about that later.

Migraines

I've been getting migraines since I was 7. It's still the health issue that currently has the greatest impact on my life.

Allergies and Sensitivities

Many of my migraines are caused by sensitivities to food and chemicals.

Food Allergies

In January 2003 I had a IgG ELISA Food Intolerance Test through York Nutritional Labs. Some of the results were surprising. I've cut many of these items out of my diet (with the exception of Gluten, yeast and some milk products (cheese, butter) and for a while the migraines really decreased in frequency. Multiple Chemical Sensitivity

While I haven't been officially diagnosed I do have MCS and go out of my way to avoid lots of items that most people would consider normal.
